Ecomondo is the international ecosystem for ecological transition and circular economy. It is the leading event in Europe and the Mediterranean for technologies, services, and industrial solutions dedicated to the green and circular economy.
The exhibition brings together industries, stakeholders, policymakers, opinion leaders, the research community, and institutions—integrating all the key elements that define the European Union’s environmental policy development strategies. Who organizes Ecomondo?
The event is organized by Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), one of the world’s leading trade fair and event organizers, with over 70 years of experience in staging business exhibitions in Italy and abroad. The Group is known for its ability to create value for stakeholders, fostering regional economic growth and connecting people, ideas, and experiences.
Ecomondo is also organized in collaboration with the Italian Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security, ICE (Italian Trade & Investment Agency), the Emilia-Romagna Region, and many other national and international institutions.
The scientific program is curated by a prestigious Scientific Technical Committee composed of 90 experts, including scientists, industry professionals, policymakers, and institutional representatives from EU and international organizations.
Where does Ecomondo take place?
The fair is held at the Rimini Expo Centre in Rimini. The venue is easily accessible from across Italy and abroad thanks to its extensive transport links.
The choice of location is no coincidence: the Rimini Expo Centre was designed and is managed according to low environmental impact principles, making it one of the most advanced and eco-certified exhibition centers in Europe. The venue offers:
